Where the ocean meets the river.    Not only a beautiful sight, but a great place to catch Chinook salmon or red tail perch.



2. Trees of Mystery

3. Jet Boats
So much fun and informative.  Go 25 miles up the river and see places where no one else goes.  Full of wildlife and stories.  Season: May 1st through September 30th

A memory maker for kids.  How in the world can a tree be so big you drive through it.

5. The Cross Overlook/The Farmhouse That Never Was
Just 1.5 miles up the road from Kamp Klamath.  Scenic overlook of the ocean and river.  The Farmhouse that never was, was a farmhouse built as a decoy to hide a submarine radar installation during WWII.

6. The Requa Overlook
Take Requa Road off highway 101 and it takes you to the top of the mountain on the opposite side of the Klamath River.  Breathtaking views on sunny days.  Look for the resident pod of gray whales out there...


7. The Saturday Night Salmon/BBQ Chicken Dinner
Thick salmon filets fresh from the Klamath River or delicious BBQ chicken, fresh salad, rice pilaf and stir fry veggies.  You've never tasted anything like it.


8. Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway/Elk Meadows
Nine mile drive through the amazing redwoods.  Features "The Big Tree" and "The Corkscrew Tree"  and miles of terrific hiking trails.

9. The Battery Point Lighthouse

10. Fern Canyon
Located at the the southern end of Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway.  Eight miles to the ocean on a dirt road.   Those brave enough to make the journey will be well rewarded.
