Celebration of all things artichoke. Learn more about the artichoke than you would ever care to know. It IS California's state vegetable, after all. There's a parade, artichoke foods, cooking demos, artichoke art and farmer's market.
Open from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday,
Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children at the gate.

*BACON FESTJune 25-26, 2016
Todd Fisher, host of TV's United States of Bacon will be serving up his bacon dishes all day. In addition to featuring Baker's Bacon there will be Tony Baker himself serving up his favorite Bacon dishes. There will be music, food, bacon Marys, vendors and bacon art.
All make for a family friendly event. All ages welcome!
Be sure to bring hats and sunscreen. Umbrellas and full-sized chairs are permitted to watch the day long music, but please set up on the sides so you don't block views. You may bring lawn chairs, without legs, that sit on the ground and provide back support. There will be limited bleacher seating.
No animals allowed.

The holiday kicks off with a 4th of July
parade at 10am which marches down Alvarado Street. Afterwards walk over to the annual lawn party on the grass in front of Colton Hall on Pacific Street from 11am to 4:30pm. The entire family will love the non-stop live music, carnival games, face painting and food booths.

on Alverado where the Monterey County Pops
put on a free patriotic concert accompanied by a high tech laser show. The doors open at 6pm and the program begins at 7pm.Carmel
There will be live classic rock music at Devondorf park downtown. Booths, food and games for the family. The action starts at 12 Noon. Pacific Grove
Music and BBQ at Caledonia Park from 10:30am-3:00pm.
There will be live music from Firefly and Mambo Wally, games, popcorn and snow cones. Don't miss the old-fashioned BBQ which includes chicken or hot dogs, baked beans, garlic bread, salad and dessert. The BBQ lunch is a steal at $10 for chicken and $5 hot dogs.

|The Pacific Grove Feast of Lanterns is a community celebration. The event includes a lantern pageant, children's activities, and a pet parade. Local high school students are named to the "Royal Court" and receive an academic scholarship. |
On Friday, enjoy the Feast of Lanterns Pet Parade. Pets will march the streets of Lighthouse Avenue beginning at 2:30pm.
Saturday, is Pageant Day at Lover's Point Beach beginning at 11am. The day will include children's activities, food booths, a sand castle contest and the pageant beginning at 7:45pm.
Sunday, will conclude the Feast of Lanterns Festival. The closing ceremony will take place at 2pm at Chautauqua Hall.

This tournament on the Champions Tour is held at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course. Each foursome includes a Champions Tour Player, an accomplished junior player (age 15 to 18) and two paying amateurs. This format provides spectators with the opportunity to see past champions playing alongside the future stars of the PGA and LPGA TOUR. Admission is free to this event.
