WATCH RACING IN THE PARK

Because the RV Park in the Laguna Seca Recreation Area is in the middle of the action on  California's Monterey Peninsula, it's hard to remember that one of the most fun things to do is right on site.  RV and camping sites are located right along the Mazda raceway where it's easy to watch the cars speed and squeal around the track!  On any given day, there will likely be some kind of car club or organization taking advantage of the track.  Of course, it's great on race days!   Find the calendar of race events here:

The 2016 racing season kicked off this weekend with the SCCA Double Regional Races.    So many of the RVer's here either watched from the hillside's excellent views, while some never even had to leave their site.   Nothing better than to sit at the picnic table in front of your rig, the BBQ just feet away, having an adult beverage and watching the cars jockey for position as they hit the straight away in front of you.

Rest assured, racing stops at 5pm and then the RV Park in the Laguna Seca Recreation Area returns to its quiet, peaceful evenings.

Emergency vehicles are on hand during races.   Ambulance, tow truck and firetruck.

Watch the video below to see where we think the best places to view the races are located.
