BREAKING NEWS!

It might not seem like it, but the Monterey Peninsula is just a series of wonderful, but small towns.  How small town is it?  The lead story this week on every TV newscast and newspaper article this week, was an event that got almost as much coverage than the Concours 'd Elegance or the AT&T Pebble Beach Tournament.   The popular fast food joint, "In-N-Out" was going to open its doors for the first time on the peninsula!

Sushi By The Bay is my new favorite restaurant!



Hamilton and I have driven past this place a million times, but Friday night we decided to give it a try.  Unassuming on the outside, it is comfortable with lots of seating inside and a heated patio if you care to dine out doors.

Stone Creek Village is a little shopping center of sorts.   More of a food and gas stop, but definitely handy while you are staying at Laguna Seca RV Park.     The space is tight, even at the gas station, so it may not be the best place to fill up when you' ve got your really big rig or 5th wheel.
