MARCH 27, 2016

When the Methodists created a retreat camp in what is now Pacific Grove back in 1875, they called Lover's Point, "Lovers of Jesus Point."   The park is  4.4 acres and is a great spot for swimming, volleyball, kayaking, scuba diving and surfing.

Because of its unique east-facing location, it is also one of the only spots on the West Coast where you can watch the sun rise over the water.  So, it makes for a wonderful place for an Easter morning service.   Definitely a powerful place to celebrate.  All are welcome.
