The goal of Free Second Saturdays at Redwood State Parks is to reconnect the people of California with these magnificent natural legacies, to inspire visitors with the beauty and power of the redwoods, and to celebrate Save the Redwoods League’s 100-year conservation legacy.
Thanks to the generous support of Oracle and Save the Redwoods League members, more than 16,000 free vehicle day-use passes will be available in 2018 for more than 40 redwood state parks. The passes cover day-use admission and parking fees. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis at FreeRedwoodsDays.org beginning Monday at 8 a.m. League staff will also be hosting free guided hikes at select parks. Visit FreeRedwoodsDays.org to sign up as space is limited.
The passes are per car so you can bring your friends and family on the one pass. Each month goes quick as there is a limit to the number of cars the parks can take. So, be sure to go on line and reserve your pass, the Monday (after 8AM) after the most recent second Saturday.
