The greatest golfers in the world are about to converge on the Monterey Peninsula and if you want to watch them play,. The AT&T Golf tournament begins with practice rounds on Monday, February 5th and culminates with the final round on Sunday, February 11th. (complete schedule is here) You are allowed to drive into Pebble Beach for practice
rounds on Monday and Tuesday but you will have to park outside and take a shuttle once the Tournament begins. You can catch shuttles into Pebble Beach from several different places on the Peninsula including CSUMB, Pacific Grove, Monterey and Carmel. The Carmel gate is closest to the Lodge and the best place to enter. You can park at the underground parking garage at the Plaza (Ocean and Mission) or outside at nearby Sunset Center. The shuttle will leave each day from the Plaza. You can buy a shuttle wristband for $20 which is already available at the Carmel Chamber of
Commerce office (Visitor’s center also at the Plaza). If you are going to the tournament it is a very good idea to buy your tickets online which you can do here. If you're not keen to take the shuttle and are in pretty good walking shape here's another idea... You can park for free at the bottom of Ocean Avenue and walk a short walk along San Antonio to the Carmel gate. It is two and a half miles from that gate to the Lodge, where everything begins. Rather than paying the usual $10 fee for going through that gate, if you walk or ride your bicycle through there, it is free. If you're taking the shuttle it will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, then 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Once inside if you want to watch the tournament at Spyglass or at Monterey Peninsula Country Club you can also catch other shuttles back and forth from Pebble Beach.
CSUMB TOURNAMENT PARKING IS LOCATED NEAR THE CORNER OF 2ND & 5TH STREET. PLEASE FOLLOW SPECTATOR PARKING SIGNS
