CBS radio reported another down quarter this week as they issued their fourth quarter report...But, in the stations that Dan Mason, (almost) newly President changed to new (actually old) formats, there was a surge in the ratings.  Mason said he does not have much confidence in the Free FM formats, and he took stations like WCBS-FM in New York back to oldies and brought back old favorites like B-94 in Pittsburgh and KFRC in San Francisco...ratings and advertising dollars on the up swing means his moves are working.  Market Watch has an excellent in depth story with Dan this morning..click here to read it...
