With pictures and audio production, people can take the tour virtually for the first time, even if they can't make it to Monterey

GPS triggers...an incredible, ever improving new technology

We did it!  After over two years of in-depth research, script writing, trigger location placement and voice tracking, the Voicemap Monterey tour is now live and available for download.  The venture is a partnership with South African based Voicemap, who provides the GPS programming software app as well as daily editorial guidance from their studios in Cape Town.

In order to tell the complete Monterey story, the tour begins at Home Depot and goes down del Monte to Del Monte Beach and the hotel Del Monte.  It then winds around El Estero and San Carlos church to Fisherman's wharf and pier 2.  Then the tour zig zags back and forth to key Adobes, takes a spot at the Lower Presidio and forks over to Breakwater and a then cruises through the Cannery to the Aquarium.  I tell compact stories about each location along the way.

With the Monterey tour we have added definitive pictures and, for the first time, production with music and sound effects to enhance the story.  I wrote the scrips with Pamela Hamilton editing, and she acted as driver as we took the tour over and over until all the triggers and instructions were perfect!

This is our second Voicemap tour as we produced the tour of Carmel three years ago, which you can also download.
