The man who ruled morning drive in Chicago for decades has died. Former WGN mornng host Wally Phillips, died at his home in Naples, Florida this morning.  He was 83. A Bexar, Texas county judge has issued a temporary restraining order barring banks from interferring with the closing of the $19.5 billion buyout of Clear Channel Communications.

The Wall Street Journal reported just moments ago that the $19 billion deal to sell the company to private equity firms, Thomas H. Lee and Bain Capital Partners LLC was in trouble because the banks that agreed to finance the deal had become "mired in the details of the credit agreement." Radio One yesterday announced that it is selling KBRV in Los Angeles to Bonneville International for about $137.5 million, taking Radio One out of the Los Angeels radio market.  Radio One's CEO/President, Alfred C.
