Google is smiling today. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has tossed out Viacom's
suit against Google's YouTube.  Viacom wants Google to pay them millions of dollars
because of copyrighted material owned by Viacom being posted on Youtube.  The
courts agreed with Google that they were protected by the safe harbor provisions of
the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.  The judge wrote, "The burden of showing that

Gary Craig has been completely shut out of his Youtube account because Google/Youtube decided to disallow any logins other than gmail. So, after years of adding videos Gary and hundreds of others were suddenly locked out. And, Google/Youtube prides itself on no telephone or direct tech support so you can't get any specific help.
