Wired magazine says this morning that support for the Radio Equality Act is breaking down in the House and that it looks like Sound Exchange will get its huge increase in performance royalties for webcasting after all.  However, in the Senate, Ron Wyden and Sam Brownback won't let it happen (see earlier post below)...Wired's story here...
Veteran media reporter Brooks Boliek of the Hollywood Reporter joins us on Radio Star Radio...

Brooks told us in an extensive interview yesterday that he believes there is little chance that the bills introduced in the House and Senate that would lower the new CRB/RIAA/Sound Exchange rates to 7.5% of a stations income will pass.  He said he believes its only chance would be if it is attached to another bill.  Brooks has been covering the beltway ...
