Will Lead Next Stage of Digital Growth at Emmis Stations
INDIANAPOLIS, May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Angie May Cook has been named to the newly created role of Vice President, Emmis Digital, and will be responsible for driving digital revenue growth and innovation throughout the Emmis Communications station portfolio (NASDAQ:EMMS) . Angie has spent much of her career developing winning interactive programs for advertisers and managing digital resources at successful radio broadcasters and digital media companies.
"Angie's experience on the front lines of both radio and digital media sales coupled with her deep understanding of the interactive space will help accelerate our leadership role in all interactive aspects of our business. Angie begins her new role June 1 and will work out of the Emmis-Chicago offices. She will have responsibility for digital sales and innovation across all Emmis markets.

Angie spent the past 13 years in media sales and management, most recently working at WTMX-FM (Bonneville) in Chicago. Her past digital media and radio broadcast sales experience includes positions at YAHOO!, Infinity/CBS Radio and Emmis Communications. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
