Pillar Point RV Part does not offer laundry facilities, so for those washing needs, especially when you discover you're staying longer than you anticipated, the Kelly Street Laundry is about it.
They have two large load machines and a dozen or so smaller ones. The dryers run hotter than normal so even jeans and towels dry in about :30 minutes. For other items, you may want to use medium heat instead of hot.
No attendant available, but there is a coin machine and a dispenser with laundry soap etc.
It's small and not all that clean. The best part is that Kelly Street Laundry is right downtown, so there is a public restroom next door, a great little bakery 1 block up Main Street and a various number of shops to browse for a few minutes if you don't care to wait at the laundry. It's usually pretty busy so I wouldn't recommend leaving while washing, only during the drying part.
Directions:
Take a right onto Hwy 1 as you exit Pillar Point RV Park. Go approximately 3.5 miles and take a left on Kelly Street. Go two blocks and Kelly Street Laundry will be on your right just before Kelly intersects with Main Street.

Just head north on Hwy 1 for 12 miles
Take the Manor Drive exit and turn left
Cross the bridge over Hwy 1 and take a right into the plaza.
"Tons of Bubbles" will be on the corner at the end of the row of stores as
you pass Safeway.
Very clean, coin machine, several sizes of machines and dryers.
Furniture for waiting and an 8 foot marble folding table.
Organic fruit and veggie market, a couple of restaurants, a CVS and a Safeway are in the same plaza.
