5th Annual "Mavericks: Everest of the Seas" Exhibiton now through February 24, 2013
If you just didn't get enough of Mavericks in January, here's your chance to see photographs of Mavericks most memorable moments created by some of the sports' most talented photographers.
On display this year are works by Bob Barbour, Grant Washburn, Eric Nelson, Rob Brown, Seth Migdail, Tony Canadas, David Evans, Ed Grant, Martha Jenkins, Tom
Rissacher, Art Gimbel, Sue Pemberton and Fred Pompermayer.
Some of the photographs in the show feature surfer Jay Moriarity in some of his early runs on the giant waves. Moriarity was featured in the 2012 film "Chasing Mavericks."
The show also features work by the public. An open invitation went out to artists
and photographers to submit their pieces that reflect the Mavericks spirit. Space was made available at no charge.
The exhibit, hosted by the Coastal Arts League runs through February 24, 2013.
