There was a little hub bub today when our group noticed a grass fire starting across the harbor on the path that leads to Mavericks.   The first thing that was done was that 911 was called.  It was a little tough getting the message across to them  because it's a path, not a street and the call center was not local.   It wasn't much longer before the fire trucks and the sirens passed and we saw them putting out the fire in about 20 minutes.

Other than that, it was a spectacular day here at Pillar Point RV Park.   Sunny blue skies and a crystal clear horizon made for some beautiful views.  Sets of big waves came in and put on a magnificent water show as they crashed against the jetty.
