A little history of the ship...

Launched on March 7, 1989, the Lady Washington was built in Aberdeen, Washington.  The new Lady Washington is a full-scale reproduction of the original Lady Washington.  In 1788, the original Lady Washington became the first American vessel to make landfall on the west coast of North America.  She was also the first American ship to visit Honolulu, Hong Kong and Japan.  The new Lady Washington is a U.S. Coast Guard inspected and certified passenger sailing vessel.

The ship weighs 99 tons, is 112 feet long and 22 feet across.  Her mast is 89 feet high.  She carries 4, 442 square feet of sails, approximately 6 miles of rigging, 12 crew and can accomadate up to 41 passengers.

The Lady Washington has appeared in various films, portraying HMS Interceptor in the film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and the brig Enterprise, a namesake of the Starship Enterprise, on the holodeck in Star Trek Generations. She also provided the basis for the RLS Legacy in the Disney animated feature Treasure Planet. Most recently, she appeared as Captain Hook's ship on the tv show, "Once Upon a Time."
