NIGHT OF LIGHTS
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2013
6pm-9pm

Every year, the city of Half Moon Bay, celebrates the arrival of the holiday season by hosting a "Night of Lights."  This year, the celebration takes place on Friday, December 6th from 6pm to 9pm.

The event features a tree lighting ceremony in Mac Dutra Park. (corner of Main and Kelly)
After the tree lighting, the prince and princess of the parade will be crowned. The royal children are nominated by teachers and community leaders and chosen by a committee based on their acts of kindness throughout the year.  Next follows a "Parade of Lights" down Main Street.  All the children are decked out in twinkling lights!  There will be carolers and musical entertainment, roasted chestnuts and activities for the kids...even some of the stores will be open to accomodate your holiday shopping needs.

Of course, Santa will be there!
