Why fight the traffic?  If you are staying at Pillar Point RV Park, you can simply walk or ride your bike to the event.   If you bike, ride over to Mezza Luna.  There you will find anentrance selling admission and a place to park your bike.  Couldn't be much easier than that!

According to seecalifornia.com... "The "Pacific Coast Dream Machines" is Half Moon Bay's massive annual celebration of mechanical ingenuity, power and style. It’s a remarkable show-and-tell spectacle, an outdoor museum-for-a-weekend, featuring 2,000 magnificent driving, flying and working machines from the 20th and 21st centuries."

It's also one of the west coast's biggest, baddest gatherings of the world's coolest cars. Every automotive style and era will be represented among the displays... tricked-out hot rods, customs, muscle cars, street machines, low riders, modified imports, sporty compacts, kit cars, touring, luxury and sports cars.

If you're a pilot, you'll love seeing the P-38 Lightning, B-25 Bomber, C-47 Skytrain, P-51 Mustang, Hawker Seafury and F-4 Corsair plus YAK Russian fighters and an impressive array of T-6 and T-28 military fighters and trainers...all up close and personal.  Vintage plane rides are also a thrill!

For the kids, there's a zip-line, bungee jump, mechanical bull, climbing wall, remote-controlled NASCAR race track, waterballerz, face painting and temporary tattoos.

There is also lots of food and live bands to keep the music rolling.

Dream Machine is the major annual fundraiser for the Coastside Adult Day Health Center.   http://www.coastsideadultdayhealth.org/

Because Pillar Point RV Park does not take reservations, it operates on a first come, first serve basis.   Come a day or two early to pick your perfect spot and stay a day or two later to avoid the traffic when everyone else is leaving.    Yes, life is good!

Dream Machines is a quick walk or bike ride for anyone staying at Pillar Point RV Park.
Take the path toward Pillar Point Harbor.   Once there, follow Capistrano left, toward the ocean, until you come to Mezza Luna Restaurant. (Not the cafe)  There will be an entrance there and a bike park just inside.  What a way to beat the traffic!
