WHERE TO SEE FIREWORKS IN THE
SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
2015

The city of Half Moon Bay used to shoot off fireworks right off the jetty in front of Pillar Point RV Park!  Alas, budgetary issues cropped up and the practice was halted about five years ago.  In the meantime, we have scoped out the best places to go if you need a fireworks fix.

Keep in mind, that no matter where you watch the fireworks around the coast, the mist always has the potential of creeping in about show time and turn your dazzling fireworks display in to red, white and blue fog.    Also, as always in San Francisco, be sure to bring a jacket because it WILL get chilly, if not just down right cold if there's a wind.

My favorite spot to watch the action is the headlands on the Sausalito side of the Golden Gate Park.  However, there is much to be said about staying right here at Pillar Point RV Park, when you can avoid the crowds, traffic and the parking headaches.  Light a fire, have a glass of wine and get cuddly.   Providing you're with the right person, you may have your own personal fireworks show....
