WHALES! WHALES!! WHALES!!!



As I always say, "You never know what you'll see when you're at Pillar Point RV Park."  Today was no different.  The day started with a pod of dolphins, a number of sea lions and a host of sea birds....then the big guys came to town.  At least six whales visited the waters of Half Moon Bay today and they hung around for over 12 hours.


Look at that wide open mouth!  

Fins up!  The whales were so close you could actually hear the air being forced out of their bodies via their blow hole.


It wasn't just the whales going after the tasty kibble in the water...




The inside of a whales mouth as he comes up under the fish to get as many in his mouth as possible.
