We just have to let you know about the best place to get coffee.  



Often in the morning I see folks returning from the parking lot with their Starbucks cups.  I think to myself, why did you get in your car and drive 4 miles, wait in line and drive 4 miles back, when the best coffee you can have is right across the street at El Granada Hardware and Cafe.    Yeah, I know...don't let the name fool you.   This...

The famous Japanese Tea Garden is located in Golden Gate Park, near the band shell, the DeYoung Museum and the Academy of Sciences.

The Japanese Tea Garden originated as a one acre display at the California Midwinter International Exposition of 1894. Being a popular San Francisco get-a-way, Half Moon Bay is filled with restaurants. 
Most are more on the expensive side, or are fast food.  So what if you want something in-between....a nice, good, sit down meal without breaking the bank.   Here are suggestions for places that give you good food for a good value.

1. Jersey Joe's
Excellent burgers, fries, sandwiches and salads.  Big portions. Great prices.

I would like to start off by saying that this friendly neighborhood dive bar has possibly the best food I've ever eaten.  Period.






We discovered it while playing golf at the Lincoln Park city golf course.  The course is a little rough around the edges but beautiful and challenging and features stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and what is known as "Land's End."  It's $29 a round plus cart, if you want one.
