Golf

The oldest golf course in San Francisco is also one of its best kept secrets and one of the most unique courses you'll ever play.  Lincoln Park's first 3 holes were built in 1902 overlooking the Golden Gate bridge.  As cemeteries were moved out of San Francisco and Lincoln Park, more holes were added until it became a full fledged 18 hole course by 1914.  The golf course is easy to get to from any place in the bay area...just abou...

There are no coyotes at coyote point, it was most likely named after the original owner of the grant from Mexico, Coyetano Arenas.

Newell Ficker is the starter at Half Moon Bay golf course, just 10 minutes away from Pillar Point RV Park.  Newell also is the top teaching pro in the area, operating from the wonderful Ocean View Driving Range on Kelly in Half Moon Bay.  That driving, putting, chipping range is the only one within 20 miles.  Newell recently moved here from Colorado.  He grew up in Maine and was happy to get back to the ocean after some years...
