The oldest golf course in San Francisco is also one of its best kept secrets and one of the most unique courses you'll ever play.  Lincoln Park's first 3 holes were built in 1902 overlooking the Golden Gate bridge.  As cemeteries were moved out of San Francisco and Lincoln Park, more holes were added until it became a full fledged 18 hole course by 1914.  The golf course is easy to get to from any place in the bay area...just abou...

Just half an hour away from Pillar Point RV park is the seven hundred acre Coyote Point recreation area... Just go straight across 92 East to highway 101 go north for 3 miles and you're there...  (Take video tour below)

There are no coyotes at coyote point, it was most likely named after the original owner of the grant from Mexico, Coyetano Arenas. 

Coyote Point features a pistol and rifle range, miles of hiking trails through the fores...

I would like to start off by saying that this friendly neighborhood dive bar has possibly the best food I've ever eaten.  Period.






We discovered it while playing golf at the Lincoln Park city golf course.  The course is a little rough around the edges but beautiful and challenging and features stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and what is known as "Land's End."  It's $29 a round plus cart, if you want one.

While you are staying at Pillar Point RV Park you are just minutes away from the world champion Half Moon Bay golf course.  Half Moon Bay golf course is built around the beautiful Ritz-Carlton hotel and the views are unmatchable.  There are two courses..the ocean course and the Old course.  Both are great, and impeccably maintained.
