Holy Cow!



The waves today are breathtaking right here in front of Pillar Point RV Park.   The beauty as they splash over the breakwater is nothing short of inspirational!   There are at least two dozen surfers out today closer to where we are, but the photo I most wanted to share with you today is the one I just shot  across the harbor....magnificent!   Who needs to even leave the park when you have such spectac...

Half Moon Bay, California - Pillar Point RV Park - Pigeon Point Lighthouse

We took a drive today south on Highway One today to Pigeon Point Lighthouse.    We stopped at a number of beaches along the way before we came to the lighthouse.   The lighthouse is about 24 miles south of Pillar Point RV Point, where we are staying.  It is open from 8am to sunset.  No charge for walking the grounds. Restrooms available.

The lighthouse was built in 1871 to guide ships along the Pacific coast.&nb...
