I took a short walk down to the harbor on Thursday after I saw a number of semi-trucks lined up on the wharf. Turns out crab is so plentiful here, that they are shipping them all over the west coast.   Here's what I saw!

CRAB FOR EVERYONE!

Commercial crab season has begun and they are seeing the same abundance of crab that the sport fishermen have been experiencing.    The boats are coming back early every day heavily loaded with BIG crab!  

At the Princeton Fish Market, just down the path, the wait is 2.5 hours to get a cooked and cleaned crab.   They can't steam them fast enough for all the people who are here to get a taste o...
October seems to have just flown by!   Pillar Point RV Park saw a number of returning old friends and we made new friends...and their wonderful owners as well!   See who came to visit this month!  There are four different collages to see!

While we had rain on and off during the day today, it stopped this evening just in time for another amazing sunset.  (And for trick and treaters)  Pillar Point guests gathered outside to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun go down.    Here are three shots of the same, changing sunset...

The Pillar Point RV Park 2nd Annual Halloween Pet Parade was an astounding success!  With a full house at the park, there were plenty of pets in costume and lots of people to watch the very well behaved dogs make their march around the grounds.    There was even a photo booth set up in the "graveyard!" There were treats galore for both pet and human participants.

October is what I like to think of as the official beginning of the spectacular sunsets here at Pillar Point RV.   The sun is setting just behind the Air Force base these days and we get the full effect of the magnificent colors as the sun sets below the horizon.
