
CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL
Saturday and Sunday April 12-13 and April 19-20, 201410am to 5pmThe 2014 Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival now in its 47th year, is said to be
the largest such festival next to the one held in Washington, D.C. Locate in Japantown in San Francisco, the festival is one of California’s most prominent celebrations of Asian traditions.

There will be food booths, cultural performances, martial arts, live bands, and the annual crowning of the Queen. You will be able to take in exhibits and demonstrations of ikebana (flower arranging), sumi-e (brush/ink painting), calligraphy, bonsai (tree dwarfing), origami, and doll-making. Most exhibits and performances are free.
The Grand Parade will be held on Sunday, April 20th at 1pm.
