Here's a treat if you happen to be staying at Vineyard RV Park during April and May. Every year, when the iris's are in full bloom, the Pleasants Valley Iris farm opens its doors to visitors from all over the world. While you can order their iris's online, this is a great chance to see in person a number of the 400 varieties of iris they carry.
You can also purchase some iris plants in pots there as well. The setting is surrounded by mountains, and the property is dotted with lots of benches and wooden chairs. They encourage visitors to bring their cameras and a picnic lunch. There are picnic tables in the shade.

Directions:Take a right on Midway Drive as you exit Vineyard RV Park. Take I-80 West toward San Francisco (left lane)
Take the Pena Adobe exit
Turn Right on Pleasants Valley Rd
They are 6 miles down the road on the left.
