Want to do something really fun?  I mean, REALLY fun?  Just about ten minutes from Vineyard RV Park is the Jelly Belly Factory, located in Fairfield, California.   It's perfect for everyone in the family...moms, dads, kids and grandkids...   Did you know Jelly Belly jelly beans are sold in 61 countries!?

There's plenty of parking for RV's and even has a doggie area for those of us who travel with our pets.    Check out the video of my visit to the Jelly Belly Factory below...
John Jamison, VP of Retail Operations was kind enough to show me around.

I took the Jelly Belly tour while I was staying at Vineyard RV Park and had such a great time I can't wait to go again!  Seeing all the people and machines on the factory floor is amazing. My favorite view was of all the bright different colors of the Jelly Belly jelly beans "resting" between stages.   It's a beautiful sight.

It takes 7-10 days to make a Jelly Belly jelly bean...some flavors take up to 21 days!

The last defense....after each of the Jelly Belly jelly beans have gone through a series of sorting machines, there is one last check to make sure every Jelly Belly jelly bean that comes to you is perfect in every way.  I was
really amazed at that...

Don't forget, there's a free tasting bar at the end of the tour!

         Jelly Belly Art

You'll see many portraits created in Jelly Belly jelly beans along the tour.  There is an art gallery and various pieces are displayed around the visitors center.

If you go to jellybelly.com you can click on a tool that will turn your own photos into a Jelly Belly masterpiece you can send to family and friends.  It's really fun.
