“RVing the Bay Area” is the ultimate DVD guide to the San Francisco Bay Area focused on the traveler who takes their hotel with them on wheels. Producers Bob Hamilton and Pamela Hamilton have spent over 5 years personally visiting historic and off-the-beaten-path locations. In order to bring the sights, smells and history of San Francisco Bay Area alive they have conversed and interviewed locals, bay area experts, RV park owners, shop keepers, chefs, and more to create the finest, most complete and unique personal travel companion. Perfect for anyone looking to explore and discover San Francisco and the surrounding area.

Topics, in business since 1990, is the leading privately owned, multimedia DVD and software distributor in the United States. The company boasts partner publishers like National Geographic and distribution into large chains like Costco, Target and many others.

“We are very happy to be working with RV Dream New Radio. The RVing the Bay Area DVD is excellent and fills a huge void for RV’ers and other travelers coming to the bay area,” Topics President Duayne Zeigler commented. “We are looking forward to the next titles, RVing the Monterey Peninsula, RVing the Central California Coast and the entire California Coast as well as expanding the unique concept even further.”

“We are thrilled to be working with Duayne and the other great people at Topics and are honored to see our RVing the Bay Area Double DVD set in bay area Costco warehouses,” RV Dream President, and producer, Bob Hamilton noted. “ We wanted to create the most authentic DVD possible, so have been traveling in our RV full time for the duration of this project. The insight found in the DVD can only be obtained from someone who lived it every day. We hope that both RV’ers and locals alike find “Rving The Bay Area” to be a valuable asset in getting to know an incredible area like the Bay. We expect RVing the Monterey Peninsula and RVing the Central California Coast to be available by the end of this year.”

Clocking in at over eight hours of hand-picked content, the DVD represents the best of the area and is personally recommended by the producers. All spots on the DVD have been earned with no advertising or favors available. All The DVD covers the area from Napa and Sonoma to Silicon Valley, the coast from Marin to Santa Cruz, and the east bay at far as Old Sacramento and the Delta at Rio Vista.

The team is already hard at work on the next five titles to complete the California coast. The DVDs will take viewers from San Diego up to the Oregon state line to be the quintessential California companion.

Bob Hamilton and Pamela Hamilton walked away their long-time home in Carmel and a successful radio and music business to live full time in an RV and produce a documentary about RVing the California coast. RVing has never been hotter.  Since the economic disaster of 2007, RV sales have climbed back each year and are now on track to have an all time record year. Most recently, the demographics have changed with more younger families joining the RV lifestyle.  The highest growth in RVers is now in the 25-49 age group. And, the San Francisco area is one of the top destinations in the world for RVers.

Bob Hamilton is celebrating 55 years in the radio/music/television and on-line industry. In his resume comes a decade of being on the air, publicizing the first radio programming magazine, historic industry gatherings, creation of the World Premiere concept in marketing music artists, the first online radio trade publication and sharing network established in 1983, award winning radio producer, production of the first CD-Rom life story on a major artist, the development of online niche radio, podcasts, a leader in social and blog marketing for the radio/music industry and now a dedicated professional documentary editor/producer.  Hamilton is no stranger to the bay area music scene as he produced major projects with Jefferson Starship, Journey and other local groups.

Pamela Hamilton is also a radio veteran from KDWB in Minneapolis. She is an acclaimed still photographer and writer. Pamela sites her most important accomplishment, being the mother of 3 daughters. In addition to filming and producing the DVD, the Hamiltons run RVdream.com, an online community that features a channel that contains audio, video and interactivity for and about, RVer’s and RVing.  It is also a live blogging site that covers the news, features and trends in the world of Rving.
