DEVIL'S SLIDE TRAIL

Devil's Slide Trail, a 1.3-mile path for hikers, cyclists and horseback riders is finally open. It's the latest addition to the San Mateo County Parks system. One of the activities that you can't escape at Pillar Point RV Park is biking.   One of the most beautiful trails runs right in front of your rig.   No bike? No problem.  Here's a list of places you can rent a bike, as well as guided tours and local favorite trails.

Point Lobos State Reserve - Laguna Seca RV Park - Carmel, CA

A great place for a hike, a bike ride, to dive or watch birds is Point Lobos, located just off Highway 1 headed south toward Big Sur.    (see the video below)

SCUBA diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding reservations can be made for Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Reservations can be made 60 days  in advance or as little as one day in advance.

Today on RV Dream New Radio we have Pat and Paul who are at Wine Country RV in the their Class B with bike racks on the back.  They are avid cyclists and yesterday did a 39 mile ride on their tandem bike.  We are running on to more and more RV'ers whose biggest hobby is cycling.  Please understand this isn't "riding bikes" around a flat RV park...this is fairly serious stuff...one cyclist who heard about is turning 70 and hiting 3...
