The 49 Mile Scenic drive was created in 1938 by the Downtown Association to highlight the city’s beauty and to promote it as a tourist destination. The route was also created as a way for visitors to see San Francisco while they were here for the Golden Gate International Exposition from 1939-1940.

Napa Valley is just 30 miles long and a few miles wide,
 but is home to over 400 wineries.

We first visited Napa mid October and the valley was busy harvesting and crushing.  The entire valley had the smell of wine in the air.   We were staying at Vineyard RV Park in Vacaville at the time...

The 3 Zero Cafe is hidden in plain sight at the Half Moon Bay Airport right off of Highway 1 just a mile or so north of Pillar Point RV Park.

Now if you ask owner Mark Smith what 3 Zero stands for, he'll slap you on the back with a laugh and tell you it stands for him and his two ex-wives...   but then he'll let you know 3 zero is aviator talk for a compass sett...

This is a terrific service we stumbled onto today and we wanted you to know about it if you have RV problems from Lompoc to San Jose.  Greg's Mobile RV service will come to you wherever you are to fix a myriad of problems, and he says his rates are lower because his overhead is less than having a staid garage.  We called Greg and did a quick interview with him which is on RV Dream Radio...In the meantime we'll mark this in the "Repair"...
