For those unpredictable bumps and cuts that always come while traveling in or working on your RV, it's good to have an ice pack handy, but they're not exactly cheap.    So here's a recipe to make your own ice pack and if you're a coupon user, you'll be able to put this reusable ice pack together for even less.

Here is what you will need:
  • 1 quart size Ziploc Freezer bag (Double zip will protect best against leaks)

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced chives
