On Saturday, June 4, 2011, Vic Zast, Dan Johnson and Jim Thompson will board a rented Class C Four Winds RV with the ashes of their good friend, Mike Allen, to begin the adventure golf trip of a lifetime. Their goal is to tee off in daylight at midnight on the summer solstice (June 21 - the longest day of the year) at Road’s End Golf Course, Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada, 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle...

About 8 miles north of Parker is the Emerald Canyon Golf Course...a beautiful course overlooking the Colorado River.  RV'ers make up over half the players in the winter time. Several RV parks are even walking distance away from Emerald, a course that goes well up into the mountains and offers gorgeous views and fun holes to play ("fun" only if you "hit 'em straight") The prices are right also..$55 per round with cart is the top rate...less after...


Another San Jose, California RV park we're going to check out for you is the Parkway Lakes...It's very near the Coyote Valley resort...their rates seems to be about $15 a might cheaper...more later as we visit this park...



We discovered this company, Premium RV Resorts network that owns three resorts in California...Lake Elizabeth is near Valencia and has an 18 hole championship golf course...River Grove is near Santa Cruz, CA and Redwood Trails is in northern California between Eureka and Crescent City on the Redwood Highway 101...
