Thor Industries, Inc. has announced that Bob Martin will become RV Group President effective February 1, 2012. Thor's six RV companies - Airstream, CrossRoads, Dutchmen, Heartland, Keystone RV and Thor Motor Coach - will report to Mr. Martin. Mr. Martin will report to Peter Orthwein, Thor's Chairman, President & CEO.

Mr. Martin, an 18-year industry veteran and Elkhart native, is currently President of Keystone RV, Thor's largest subsidiary...

Thor Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO) today announced results for the second quarter and six months ended January 31, 2011.  Sales for the second quarter were $526,227,000, up 22% from $430,025,000 last year.  Net income for the quarter was $5,688,000, down from $11,924,000 last year.  E.P.S. for the quarter were $0.10 versus $0.22 last year.  Sales for the six months were $1,132,911,000, up 21% from $932,577,000 last year. &nbs...

Baird analysts said yesterday that the market for recreational vehicles will slow down due to a stalled economy.  RV sales have been on the way back after a sharp decline in 2008-09...the growth has been 10% so far this year.  But, Baird warned investors that consumer spending is down and high unemployment continues to plague the U.S.  Consumer confidence overall is down.  Baird lowered their 2011 fiscal-year earnings targets...
