The average price of gssoline rose another 3 cents in the last two weeks bringing the aveage prices of regular gasoline in the U.S. to $3.13 a gallon. The Lundberg Survey reported last night Gasoline is over $3.50 a gallon on the west coast. On the low end, Memphis reported $2.99 a gallon. Crude oil is now at $89.11 a barrel. Gasoline prices have increased for the last 19 straight weeks..up 43.69 cents from September 2009. But, Lundberg says there a glut of gasoline in the U.S. and demand is down, pointing to continuing unemployement as part of the reason.
