AAA reports today that the average pricce of gasoline in the U.S. is up to $3.78 a gallon...but, in California it's now averaging $4.32 a gallon..up 8 cents overnight and 18 cents in just the past week. The excuse this time is "a supply problem fueled by refinery and pipeline outages They say inventories in California are lower than they have been in more than 10 years. The supply is low because of the special gasoline blend that is supposedly mixed to reduce pollution. According to Gasbuddy, prices will continue to go up because wholesale prices are up a dolllar and retail prices have only risen 30 cents so far.
