In today's Chicago Tribune Patrick Kampert gives 6 good reasons why the "shock jocks" of yesterday are going away.  This includes the FCC crackdown, advertisers reluctance to advertise on certain shows, a cut back in morning show staff, the "tenor of the times" and others.  Of particular interest in Patrick's column is a quote from Derrick Brown, PD of WVAZ-FM in Chicago who noted that electronic measurement (PPM) is changing everything...Brown said.
