Who knew There was such a great Golf Course in King City California?!!... It's a championship 9 Hole, par 35 course, with two long par fives.... lined with Willows and Pines, the course is kept in pristine shape...

The par 5's are in the 500 yard plus range and give you a challenge on club selection
as they sweep around the fairways.  The uniquely designed par 4's and 3's also, each have their own personality making for a very interesting round of golf. Play 9 or play it twice at a discounted rate 18 hole round.

There is a nice clubhouse with tables and chairs and refreshments...a few supplies, such as golf balls, gloves etc are available as well.

Yolanda Frudden, a former pro from South Africa is the owner and she has created a very friendly and laid back atmosphere. Yolanda came to the U.S. to be on the mini tour and wound up working at top golf courses including Paso Tiempo in Santa Cruz as well as The Refuge and the exclusive Monterey Peninsula Country Club in the Monterey area.

King City Golf Course has an excellent practice facility with a nice putting green and a long chipping area behind the first hole.  It's extensive enough to work on some extended wedge shots as well.  There is a driving range, but, it stretches across one of the fairways. so isn't in use on busy

If you are staying at San Lorenzo RV Park you're just 7 minutes away from the first tee... Just come straight out of the park up Broadway turn right on Vanderhurst…three blocks later you're there... If you're traveling Highway 101 King City Golf Course is a perfect place to grab an emergency 9 and a picnic in a beautiful setting... Just exit Canal Street... Go two blocks turn right on Division, go half a dozen blocks and turn right on Vanderhurst....

Another even shorter way is to take the First street exit, go east on First street, then left on Division and left on Vanderhurst..that's about a minute off 101.

Have lunch overlooking the course or at a park just a block away...plenty of parking for  your RV...It's the only golf course for a hundred miles from Monterey to Paso Robles and I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised..
