February wasn't such a great month for Christina Aguilera after she flubbed the
National Anthem at Super Bowl XLV and then sort of falling off the stage at the
end of the Grammys tribute to Aretha Franklin.  Now she's kicking off March with
an arrest. Christina and her boyfriend Matthew Rutler were arrested early
Tuesday. Aguilera was charged with public intoxication and was released on $250
bail.  Rutler was not so fortunate. He was charged with a DUI and his bail was
set at $30,000. The couple met on the set of her latest movie "Burlesque," where
he was a musician and production assistant.

Ashley Judd has closed a deal to star in the new ABC series, "Missing". The
project centers on a worried mom who travels to Europe to find her son, who has
disappeared in Italy while on a summer internship. It soon becomes clear that
this isn't any ordinary woman, but a former CIA agent who will stop at nothing
to bring her son home alive.

Simon Cowell has convinced legendary record executive, Tommy Mottola, to star on
his new show, "X Factor". The two were spotted dining together at Hollywood's
Cecconi’s restaurant Monday night. Simon and Tommy have known each other for
years since their days at Sony and Simon has wanted to get Tommy on board one of
his shows for a long time.  Tommy had made several guest appearances on
"American Idol".

And as long as we're talking about Simon Cowell...

Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge, Steven Tyler, 62, says the show had
improved since the critical Simon Cowell has left the program.  "I think one of
the biggest problems was Simon hurt people" says Tyler. "His comments were
nasty. I’ve tried to be myself and be different. If people like it, then that’s

While most seem to think that Charlie Sheen is running on empty, Donald Trump
says he would love to the the actor do a season of "The Celebrity Apprentice".
Trump said he got to know Sheen because he used to be married to the daughter of
a member of a Trump-owned club in Florida. "I did say to the parents, I don't
think this is going to work, so I was right about that," Trump said. "But I also
got to like Charlie. He's just a different kind of a guy.

And in other Charlie news...

Radar Online is reporting that Sheen's children were removed from his Los
Angeles home on Tuesday under a jduge's order that they must be returned to his
soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller. As his twins Bob and Max were being taken
from his home, Sheen, 45, said, "My fangs are dripping tiger blood." Mueller,
33, also won a restraining order earlier in the day as well, in order to keep
them away from their father and his "goddesses". The children had been staying
at Sheen's mansion, where they were by Charlie's girlfriends, porn actress Bree
Olson and Natalie Kenly.

Actress, Melissa Gilbert, 46, has separated from her husband of 16 years, Bruce
Boxleitner, 60.  The couple has one son, Michael, 15, named for Michael Landon,
Gilbert's costar, mentor and father figure during her 9-year (from 1974 to 1983)
stint as Laura Ingalls on TV's Little House on the Prairie. Gilbert also has a
son, Dakota, 21, from her previous marriage to Bo Brinkman; Boxleitner has two
sons, ages 30 and 25, from his previous marriage to former actress Kathryn
Ogilvy. Of course, after making the public announcement, Gilbert asks for

Katie Holmes has filed a $50 million libel lawsuit against the publishers of
"Star" magazine after a recent cover insinuated that she's a drug addict.
Drawing the suit was the headline, "ADDICTION NIGHTMARE - Katie DRUG SHOCKER!
The Real Reason She Can’t Leave Tom"...  The article itself doesn't accuse
Holmes of any drug use, but she feels the provacative cover is deliberately
defamatory and is libelous on its own.

While commenting on her Twitter page about Christina Aguilera's little run-in
with the law this morning, mom-to-be Pink couldn't help but sneak a jab at her
fellow singer's situation. "Out of Myself, Britney and Christina- didn't
everyone think I was gonna be the troublemaker?" "LOOK MA!!! No CUFFS!!!"

Bacteria that cause Legionnaires' disease have been found at the Playboy Mansion
during an investigation into an illness that affected about 200 people who
attended an event there last month.  The health department will continue to
check out other sources of the illness because the bacteria Legionella is common
in moist places, said Los Angeles County Department of Public Health director
Dr. Jonathan E. Fielding. County health officials opened an investigation
February 11th after attendees of an Internet conference reported symptoms mostly
consisting of fever, chills, malaise and coughing. Health officials declined
comment on where the bacteria were discovered at the mansion, calling it only a
water source. That could mean anywhere from a kitchen tap to the famed grotto,
where Playboy bunnies have mingled with guests in a hot tub.
